Founded in 1949, the Société pour la Gestion des Droits d'Auteur (SOGEDA) is the Monegasque organization responsible for the collective management of copyright. It oversees the protection of works, and the collection and redistribution of royalties to creators and beneficiaries. Through its actions, it ensures fair remuneration for the exploitation of artistic, musical, literary or audiovisual works. Working closely with cultural institutions and users of works, the company plays a central role in the recognition and valorization of creators in the Principality.
