Port Hercule is a marina in Monaco, set in a natural bay at the foot of the Rock. It is one of the few deep-water ports on the Côte d'Azur, already used as a trading port by the Greeks and Romans. It is protected by a semi-floating breakwater 352 metres long, 28 wide and 19 high, weighing 160,000 tonnes, completed by a counter-jetty, to shelter the harbour from easterly swells. It welcomes boaters and large yachts.
