The Fédération Monégasque des Activités Subaquatiques (FMAS), founded in 1962, is a Monaco-based organization dedicated to the promotion and regulation of underwater activities. It oversees the practice of scuba diving, freediving and other related disciplines, ensuring safety, training and raising awareness of the need to preserve the marine environment. Based at the Port of Fontvieille, FMAS plays a central role in the development of water sports in the Principality. It is an integral part of Monaco's commitment to ecology and sport, promoting a respectful approach to the marine environment.
