Created in 1945, the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE) is the Principality of Monaco's third Assembly. It plays a major advisory role to the Monegasque authorities on economic, social, environmental, educational, cultural and urban planning issues. Composed of 36 members from different colleges, it acts in a spirit of social dialogue, field analysis and contribution to public debate. The EESC plays an active role in Monaco's legislative evolution and sustainable development, affirming its place as a key player in the country's institutional life.
