Presentation
The Monaco Chamber of Commerce (Chambre de Commerce de Monaco), formerly the Monaco Economic Board (MEB), is the chamber of commerce for businesses in the Principality. It supports their development, competitiveness and international growth, with priority given to its member companies.
A new name, a refocused mission
The change of name was approved unanimously by members at an extraordinary general meeting on 5 October 2026. Since the Prince's Government entrusted Invest Monaco with investor prospecting and the coordination of international attractiveness, the Chamber devotes itself fully to its role with Monegasque businesses: connecting them with economic networks, informing them about major trends and strengthening services for its members.
Practical services for members
In 2025, the Chamber carried out 70 actions and more than 1,500 qualified business introductions. Its B2B meetings between members now take place twice a year, and new economic intelligence services have been announced. It organises trade missions, conferences, workshops and visits by foreign delegations, and its International Formalities department issues certificates of origin, ATA carnets and other export documents to businesses in the Principality.
Shared governance and an international footprint
Its Board brings together companies, professional organisations and State representatives, anchoring its work in Monaco's economic reality. As a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), where it acts as the Monegasque National Committee, it connects the Principality's businesses with the networks and practices of world trade.

The International Formalities department of the Monaco Chamber of Commerce issues and certifies several documents for Principality businesses to complete export formalities. These procedures have gradually been digitised on the dedicated online portal GEFI (Gestion Electronique des Formalités Internationales), run by the Paris Chamber of Commerce. Monaco and France form a customs union, so export formalities are common to both countries. The Monaco Chamber of Commerce is therefore linked to the network of French chambers of commerce for these services.
On the GEFI portal, our team handles the following documents:
- ATA carnet
- Certificate of origin
- Legalisation of documents
- EUR 1
- Signature filing
Using the GEFI portal requires creating an account.
Monegasque businesses logging in to the portal for the first time, or needing support with their procedures, can book an appointment with the Chamber's department using the contact details at the bottom of this page.
The department is available to Principality businesses for all kinds of information on exporting and importing in general, export regulations, shipping and transport documents, goods inspection, documents accompanying goods to non-EU countries, country contacts locally and abroad, current legislation, Incoterms, etc.
