AS Monaco Rugby

The Rugby section of the Association Sportive de Monaco is now one of the Principality's most dynamic clubs, symbolizing a booming sport. Founded just over a decade ago, the club has grown rapidly, federating a community of enthusiasts around the sport's core values of solidarity, courage, respect and team spirit.

With over 350 members, ASM Rugby brings together all generations and offers a genuine training program. The rugby school caters for the very young from initiation, teaching them the technical basics and essential educational values. The Cadets and Juniors categories ensure the continuity of this progression, enabling players to perfect their skills before joining the senior teams.

The First team is now playing in the Fédérale 2 Côte d'Azur and Provence, confirming the club's growing sporting strength. It is backed up by a Fédérale Reserve team, giving each player the opportunity to express themselves on the pitch at their own level and pace. This structured organization testifies to the section's sporting ambitions and its ability to support its members in a demanding competitive environment.

ASM Rugby also stands out for the dynamism of its women's section. Created just a few years ago, it is enjoying growing success and attracting more and more female players, inspired by the development of women's rugby in France and on the international scene. This openness helps to reinforce the club's diversity and inclusiveness.

The coaching staff is not limited to players. For the first time, referees have been trained within ASM Rugby and have officiated at European matches, proof of the club's broadening skills base and overall structuring.
