Brokers and sellers of new or used yachts based in Monaco. They support the purchase and sale of pleasure boats, from finding the yacht to closing the transaction.
For a buyer, the broker searches for boats that match the project, organises viewings, the survey and the sea trial, then supports the negotiation and signing. For a seller, the broker estimates the price, presents the boat to potential buyers and follows the transaction through to the transfer of ownership. Several houses then manage the yacht for its new owner or offer it for charter.
The broker knows the market, finds the boats available, organises the survey and the sea trial, and supports the negotiation and the formalities. For a major purchase, the broker limits the technical and legal risks of the transaction.
Should a yacht be surveyed before purchase?
Yes, it is strongly recommended. A marine surveyor examines the hull, engines and equipment, often after the boat has been lifted out of the water. The broker helps organise this survey and the sea trial before the final signing.
How do you sell your yacht?
The owner generally entrusts the sale to a broker, who estimates the price, prepares the presentation of the boat and offers it to buyers. The contract states the commission and the length of the mandate.
